About Blade

Bob “The Blade” Robinson is a legendary figure in the world of radio and media. He was a disc jockey on WRDU 106, a rock radio station in Raleigh, North Carolina. He held this position for an impressive 22 years.

In November 2006, Clear Channel Communications switched the format of WRDU from rock to country. In response, Blade made a memorable exit. He played “The Song Is Over” by The Who and then resigned on the air. The abruptness of his departure left a lasting impression.

Brand Spokesperson and Video Company: Blade used his “radio transferable skills” to become a brand spokesperson for television commercials. Additionally, he created his own video company called Blade Brilliant. You can explore more about Blade as a spokesman and video editor on the Blade Spokesman Showcase page.

Blade's  journey from radio to television and his unique perspective on art and life make him a captivating personality. His creative endeavors continue to inspire others in the media world.

Rants and Raves-Mental Health

Working with Blade was an amazing experience from order to delivery. He took time to understand my project, and genuinely cared about what my project was about. I love that Blade took his time to review the project and offer his advice and ideas. I recommend to anyone looking for someone who is not only professional, but will also treat your project as his own. Just to add, the final delivery was so good, when I watched the video I was so moved,I cried.
